OUR LEADERSHIP
Mr. Raman Arora heads NIG and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hindu College, Delhi University. He kickstarted his career by venturing into the surfactants manufacturing industry in the year 1990.
Over the years, he has been successful in establishing manufacturing facilities in strategic parts of India and dealing with FMCG leaders like Henkel and Hindustan Unilever Limited. He has also led the group’s flagship business, New India Colour Company Ltd (NICCL), to be among the top domestic traders for the textile, paint, and rubber industry chemical segments.
In addition to the chemical industry, Mr. Arora also has more than 10 years of experience in the commercial real-estate industry. He is currently managing a leasing portfolio of more than 50,000 square feet, which has been leased to major corporations.
DHRUV ARORA
Mr. Dhruv Arora, is a graduate in Bachelor of Science and Business Administration from Northeastern University, USA. He also holds a Diploma in Climate Change from IIM, Ahmedabad.
He has gained significant Industrial and Corporate exposure prior to joining Detergeo (A Unit of New India Group) by working with EY LLP as a Transaction Advisor for the Government and Public Sector (GPS). His role there was primarily concerned with supporting infrastructure projects like airports, ports, smart cities, and the like. Later, he gained his industrial exposure from working in the coated fabric division at SRF Ltd.’s Gummidipoondi plant.
At Detergeo, Dhruv is responsible for global key account marketing along with appraisal and strategic planning for new projects. This includes analysis of feedstock, final product and bi-product markets as well as studying the impact of government policies.
YATIN ARORA
Mr. Yatin Arora, holds a dual-degree in Finance from The Wharton School and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The University of Pennsylvania, USA.
He has gained diversified experience in both business strategy and engineering related roles prior to joining Detergeo (A Unit of New India Group). Most recently, he worked with Gotham Consulting Partners in New York City where he performed fact-based customer & market due diligence for middle-market Private Equity firms for targets with $30MM-$400MM revenue. Prior to that, Yatin got the opportunity to work in different industries and practice areas – structured finance at Standard Solar, performance improvement at Ernst & Young, marketing at Wipro, and process optimization at Pidilite Industries.
At Detergeo, Yatin is responsible for developing network of niche and specialized business partners along with developing basket of new products. This includes brand building, import/export data analysis, and gathering market feedback to develop new product offerings.
